In a perfect world, I would learn something about health and then tell others and they will apply it, and we will all live better and have happy endings, the end.
So, with any type of advice that is given, some will take it and some will not.
Then there are some that do not initially take it, but later remember and then believe they came up with the information on their own.
I am between, the one that does not listen at all, and the one that applies it later as my own idea.
Yes, I have stubborn qualities but don’t we all? Especially, when it comes to our health.
Especially, when you are use to doing things a certain way and then someone tells you to make changes. I get it.
When I first started learning more about nutrition and exercise, I wanted everyone to be just as excited as me. It was a bit annoying too.
I love kale. Yes KALE! You know the green leafy vegetable that is bunchier than spinach, that kale.
I wanted everyone to enjoy kale like I did, but there were people that gave me a hard pass.
I was thinking, why can't they just try it?
Then, I realized that they do not have to.
Just because I enjoy something does not mean another person will. So, when I have information about wellness, I literally talk about it briefly and keep it moving.
I can't, not talk about it, because some of the things I learn can literally save your life. It is my belief that somebody will take my advice at some point.
In my experience there are so many subjects I have spoken to about wellness. Within these groups of about 50 people, 1 person will tell me they remembered my advice and applied it.
One time that person was my mother, and she knows everything!
My point in this post is to advise you to not give up on sharing information just because it seems like everyone is giving you blank stares, or does not appear to care.
Keep learning and becoming knowledgeable and keep sharing that knowledge. There is someone listening!
Please share below a subject that you love that others may have shown a disinterest in. What encouraged you to keep talking about it?
