This term of burning fat use to amaze me, until I found out the real deal.

Apparently, there is no such thing as burning fat!

I know! Do you believe this?

How about all the work out machines that let you choose the option of fat burn, or the work outs I stream that say the same thing.

I was flabbergasted!

But the truth is you metabolize the most fat when resting.

Losing fat is not based on the type of exercise you do, or even the intensity of how you exercise; the key to losing fat is total output being more than total input (cited).

This means that the total calories consumed will need to be lower than the amount of energy you put out.

An example is when I eat breakfast, lunch, and snacks for a total of 1000 calories, and then two hours after lunch engage in a 45-minute Taebo work out at moderate intensity.

My total expenditure from the workout alone was 400 calories, which reduces my total consumption to 600 calories.

Overall, the takeaway is to not go into an exercise overkill to get rid of fat, when you can simply eat a balanced, more nutrient-dense diet, and exercise 120-150 minutes a week, and still lose weight.

Please share below what methods have worked in losing fat, and comment on your opinions of this post.
